Together with the customer, the company's own development department and toolmaking department create products that are optimally tailored to the respective field of application. Thanks to the use of new technologies in injection moulding, thermoforming and further processing, Utz can produce efficiently and in an environmentally friendly manner. Sustainability permeates the entire Utz philosophy: Our own plastic products are taken back after their life cycle and reused as recyclate for new products. In Switzerland, Utz produces 100 % natural electricity from certified hydropower. The Utz Group's production is climate-neutral worldwide.

RAKO
RAKO containers from Utz have been around for over 60 years. Each RAKO base container can be customised in a variety of ways by combining different side, base and handle options. When selecting the right container, you can choose between perforated and slotted side walls, a mesh or ribbed base, an open base or a closed double base, depending on the intended use and load capacity, and decide between a shell handle, a grip hole or a handle strip. These diverse options, combined with the high load capacity of the Euro container, make the RAKO an extremely adaptable universal container. RAKO containers can also be manufactured from certified UIC® (Utz Industrial Compound) recycled material.

EUROTEC
The EUROTEC system container is primarily suitable for automatic handling on all common storage and conveyor systems. The EUROTEC has a large number of attachment points where robots can grip or an automatic conveyor system can be attached. Shell handles and grip holes also enable manual handling of the container. In addition, there is a selection of base variants, so that by adapting to the container load, deflection of the base and resulting malfunctions of the conveyor system can be ruled out. EUROTEC containers can also be manufactured from certified UIC® (Utz Industrial Compound) recycled material.

Foldable boxes
When delivering to branches, empty containers often have to be taken back and stored. Since empty folding boxes can be reduced to up to 25% of their original size, four times as many empty folding containers can be stored in the same space as would be possible with rigid containers. This also reduces transport costs accordingly.

Collapsible boxes
Empty collapsible boxes can be reduced to up to 20% of their original size. This makes these space-saving containers particularly suitable for transport operations where empty collapsible boxes from previous deliveries have to be taken back. Five times as many empty collapsible boxes can be stored in the same space as would be possible with rigid containers. This also reduces transport costs accordingly.

Nestable containers
Nestable containers can be stacked either by their lids or by fold-out handles. When empty, they can be nested, thus significantly reducing their volume. Nestable shipping containers are used successfully in home shopping and goods distribution.

Pallets
Plastic pallets are not an economical alternative to wood pallets - this is true without doubt. Plastic pallets, however, have key advantages: they have a constant unladen weight, are robust and durable, have a longer life than wooden pallets and, with metal reinforcing, are particularly sturdy and suitable for use in high-rack warehousing. Fully enclosed pallets are easy to clean and are particularly suitable for the food, hygiene and clean room sectors. Utz pallets (UPAL) are available as Euro, ISO or half pallets.

Thermoformed component holders
Component holders are special containers designed for transporting and storing various components, parts or objects. These custom-made products are tailored precisely to the customer's requirements and hold the stored products perfectly together in so-called nests. Component holders are also referred to as load carriers. Thermoformed parts are manufactured in thin (less than 1 mm) and thicker wall thicknesses (up to 12 mm). In terms of the use of the part, this modification allows for specific adaptation and scalability to the application without compromising precision.

Pallet Boxes
Utz pallet boxes are designed for industries that require robust, large-volume storage and transport solutions. These large-capacity containers offer maximum efficiency in the handling of bulk goods while ensuring durability and reusability. Utz offers collapsible pallet boxes, such as the KLAPA or the VDA-GLT, or rigid containers such as the PALOXE. These large containers are based on ISO or Euro dimensions.
