Welcome to Kern Studer AG, based in Switzerland and Germany. We specialise in flexible mesh and sheet metal partition wall systems, which are primarily used in industrial and commercial buildings, as well as logistics and data centres. Our partition walls protect people, machines and safeguard against unauthorised access.

We offer machine guards as flexible modular systems that are tested with a load of up to 2000 joules. MACHINE GUARDING X-GUARD
X-Guard by Kern Studer AG is a completely new machine guarding system that fully complies with the amended requirements of the 2006 European Machinery Directive for fixed guards. This amendment, which came into effect on December 29, 2009, stipulates that the mounting hardware must remain attached to the guards or machines after the guards have been removed. With its unique, highly intelligent click-lock design, the X-Guard partition system can be quickly installed, easily upgraded, and adapted to various applications. During the system's development, we focused on safety and functionality to achieve optimal machine protection. We also offer a comprehensive range of doors that can be customized to your specific requirements and safety specifications. Kern Studer AG MultiSafe machine guard system was developed to meet all the requirements of a functional machine guarding system today. Complete safety is a given. The flexible and robust modular systems include a wide variety of standardized, ready-to-install mesh panels in various widths and heights. Of course, we are also happy to manufacture custom solutions according to your specifications. Cold/warm aisles by Kern Studer AG
Kern Studer AG's cold and warm aisle solutions ensure targeted control of air flows in the data centre and make a decisive contribution to increasing energy efficiency and operational reliability. The clear separation of warm and cold air optimises the cooling effect, which significantly reduces energy consumption and increases the performance of the air conditioning system. Our systems are fully compatible with existing racks and can be flexibly adapted to individual conditions and room concepts. Thanks to their modular design, cold or hot aisles can be installed quickly, cleanly and without interrupting operations – even while the IT infrastructure is running. Kern Studer AG's sophisticated cold/hot aisle system is based on a lightweight but stable aluminium construction with high-quality polycarbonate fillings. It can be used for both cold aisle containment and hot aisle containment and can be easily adapted to growth or technical changes in the data centre. This high degree of flexibility enables sustainable optimisation of air flow and creates the basis for long-term economical air conditioning. For effective sealing, we rely on first-class sealing profiles and brush seals that reliably prevent air leakage at doors, penetrations and transitions. This ensures that cold and warm air remain strictly separated and no energy is lost. Kern Studer AG sealing elements are characterised by simple installation, low maintenance requirements and a long service life. They make a significant contribution to the thermal stability and reduction of operating costs in your data centre.
