The Swiss Association for the Vocational Training in Logistics (ASFL SVBL) has been working as a Professional Organisation (OdA) in the interest of Logisticians for over 35 years and offers the the different branch courses in 11 different training centers. At the end of the vocational education and training (VET) the Professional Organisation is responsible for the national qualification procedures in all three language regions.
The Swiss association also offers a wide range of further education opportunities in all areas of logistics as well as the possibilities to prepare for the exams for a federal diploma, the Logistician with Federal Diploma of Higher Education and the Logisticians with a Advanced Federal Diploma of Higher Education. The Professional Organisation ASFL SVBL is also one of the leading providers of material handling equipment training in Switzerland and has been active in the trainig of forklift operators since its founding.

Basic course for industrial crane operators

Lifting equipment such as bridges, gantry cranes or wall cranes are used in all companies where loads have to be lifted and transported while suspended. The operation of cranes is associated with great dangers. Lifting equipment has its pitfalls if handled incorrectly. The correct operation and, above all, the correct and efficient slinging of loads, the correct choice and assessment of attachment equipment and slinging technology as well as general safety aspects are the subject of this course. An appropriate crane system is available for training purposes. The practical work takes place in small groups (max. 6 persons). This course fulfills the training obligation according to VUV.

Logistics clerk with ASFL SVBL certificate

The course is aimed at people who are interested in entering or re-entering logistics and would like to prepare themselves for management tasks in logistics.

Logistician Federal Diploma (HFP)

The course is aimed at candidates who wish to take the higher professional examination and have already passed a professional examination.

Software PiA - Person in training

The reform of basic vocational training in logistics has been completed, and the new ordinances on basic vocational training for logistics specialists EBA and EFZ as well as the training plans have now been in force since summer 2024. When used correctly, PiA (persons in training) efficiently supports training planning and monitoring. The course focuses on the safe use of PiA and getting to know all the tools available.

Body-friendly delivery with the stair climber

Delivering heavy goods and beverages is a major challenge for the body. If loads are not transported in a way that is gentle on the body, this leads to overloading and physical damage. Learn how to transport heavy loads up and down stairs with the help of a stair climber. The manual lifting and carrying of loads also needs to be learned: This course introduces you to the basics of ergonomic lifting and carrying. This course was developed in cooperation with Suva.
