About us
Founded in 2007, WAGNER Schweiz AG, part of the internationally active WAGNER Group of companies, is the expert for plant fire protection in Switzerland. With a team of around ten, the company focuses on active fire prevention with OxyReduct® and early fire detection with TITANUS® aspirating smoke detectors. The company has succeeded in establishing the technology of active fire prevention in Switzerland with a focus on its use in the area of warehouse/logistics properties, especially in deep-freeze and hazardous materials warehouses. Active fire prevention is also becoming increasingly important for computer centers or warehouses for works of art. WAGNER Schweiz also realizes fire fighting systems with gas extinguishing technology using inert gases and chemical extinguishing gases.

Fire prevention in automated compact container storage
Intelligent, highly automated warehouse systems,such as AutoStore, open new possibilities for intralogistics. Time savings and energy efficiency are just two advantages that result from these developments. In order to protect plant and high stock, WAGNER offers a solution combining the active fire prevention technology,OxyReduct® and the early fire detection system TITANUS®. In 2012, 2015 and most recently in 2019, WAGNER developed an individual fire protection solution for the automated compact storage system of Competec Logistik AG in Willisau (Switzerland), consisting of active fire prevention in combination with early fire detection using aspirating smoke detectors. Logistics service provider Competec Logistik AG, which provides logistics services for the popular Swiss online store BRACK.CH, among others, experienced an increase in order volumes in the wake of the Covid 19 pandemic. In order for the Competec Group to be able to keep its delivery promise to its customers in the future, it was necessary to ensure a trouble-free operational flow with all associated operational processes. When it comes to fire protection, Competec relies on WAGNER's expertise and innovative fire protection solutions to provide holistic protection for its automated compact storage systems.
Detect fires early and with no false alarms: TITANUS® air sampling smoke detectors
Every second counts where fire is concerned. The faster a fire is detected, the faster action can be taken in order to prevent more serious damage. The highly sensitive TITANUS® air sampling smoke detectors from WAGNER detect a fire 2,000 times more sensitively than conventional smoke detectors and thus provide a time advantage that can be crucial to a company’s continued existence. The highly sensitive TITANUS® air sampling smoke detection systems offer very early smoke detection in the pyrolysis phase along with staged alarms. High response sensitivity, continuous air sampling, and a graded alarm-activation concept ensure early detection of smouldering and incipient fires, so that users have time to react to alarms appropriately. Dust, dirt and exhaust gases are no problem: Intelligent LOGIC·SENS® signal processing distinguishes fire patterns from such false variables.
