The robots in the SAFELOG M4 series cover a wide range of intralogistics tasks. With a device length of 1,460 mm, the curve radius is only 1,000 mm, so that the robots are characterized by great maneuverability and agility.

The brushless servo motor gives the robot models in the M4 series a high starting torque. In addition, the drive enables a speed range of 0.02 m/s to 1.6 m/s. The robots in the M4 series are certified by TÜV SÜD according to the internationally valid machine product standard EN-ISO 3691-4:2020, and the stable steel chassis is dust and splash-proof according to IP54. Thanks to the intelligent, agent-based SAFELOG control, the mobile robots communicate both with each other and with peripheral systems. Thanks to the swarm intelligence, a higher-level control center is superfluous; the necessary interfaces, such as VDA 5050, for a control center connection are of course available.

The SAFELOG M4 tow model is the towing vehicle among the devices in the M4 series. The mobile robot was designed for the transport of trolleys and overcarriages and can tow most of the trailers available on the market. This is possible thanks to the low height of 220 mm. These can be automatically coupled and uncoupled using a system of lifting bolts and snap catches in conjunction with an RFID reader or light sensors for overcarriage detection. The maximum towing load is 1,500 kg.
