ROSSMANN is optimizing order picking in its logistics centers with the in-house developed WIIEB system, implemented together with EPG. Using an intelligent algorithm, WIIEB calculates the optimal distribution of items in roll cages based on size, weight and contents, while employees are guided via Put-to-Light and the voice-directed solution LYDIA Voice. This ensures evenly loaded containers, full transparency over what is in each box, and clear labeling and compliant handling of hazardous goods.
