PAPERplus® Classic Grass

Sustainability and resource conservation play a key role in the packaging industry – and suitable protective packaging ensures that shipping goods reach their recipients in good working order. Sustainability takes center stage with the new PAPERplus® Classic Grass paper type from Storopack, as it consists of 50 percent sun-dried grass. The benefits are clear to see: grass is a renewable resource and, during production, uses far less water and energy than required for wood fibers. Furthermore, the grass used in PAPERplus® Classic Grass is sourced from the Swabian Jura in Germany and grows in the local area surrounding the paper factories in Metzingen and Lenningen.

AIRplus® Air Cushions

AIR CUSHIONS ARE PROTECTIVE PACKAGING, LIGHT AS A FEATHER. Storopack’s air pillows are the ideal solution for effectively protecting sensitive goods in transit from vibration, filling voids, and blocking and bracing products in the carton. The extensive range accommodates a whole host of applications with the product lines AIRplus® and AIRmove®. Our air pillow systems produce cushioning on-demand directly at the packing station – as individual machines for smaller requirements or as an integrated part of an existing packaging process. This saves valuable storage space and perfectly adapts the packing process to meet on-site needs. Our range of air cushions consists of a variety of film types and cushioning shapes, ensuring all your products are perfectly protected. All films are produced in our own production facilities, require very little raw material, and offer exceptional mechanical characteristics.

PAPERplus® paper cushioning

PAPERplus® IS THE CLASSIC WAY TO PACK. Whether filling voids, cushioning from impact shock or blocking and bracing goods against transport damage: Storopack’s PAPERplus® paper cushioning offers all-around perfect protection for your packaged goods, whether they’re small and fragile or bulky and heavy. Our product portfolio is just as diverse as the protective functions of PAPERplus®: Storopack offers a variety of paper cushioning systems that produce just the right packaging materials for every requirement and can be used individually or integrated into existing packaging processes. They all have one thing in common: innovative shapes enable optimal cushioning and exceptional stability with limited use of materials and a lower pack weight. Storopack customers can also choose from various types of paper, all of which are FSC-certified. And because PAPERplus® allows you to produce paper cushioning as required directly at the packing station, you can save valuable storage space, while sending your products on their way well protected.

FOAMplus® Foam Packaging

FOAMplus® IS HIGH-PRECISION PACKAGING, LIGHT AS A FEATHER. Storopack's FOAMplus® foam packaging is a high-quality protective packaging solution that adapts to the contours of the product and protects your goods against possible transit damage due to impact shock and vibration. Whether they're heavy, fragile or awkward shapes FOAMplus® offers the protection required for your product. Made from expanded polyurethane, the high-quality packaging foam is resistant, robust and thanks to it being light weight, reduces transport costs. With the FOAMplus® Bag Packer³ and Hand Packer² foam dispensing systems, protective foam packaging can be produced directly at the packing station and placed into the carton. As the foam expands it moulds to the contours of the product and encapsulates it in a highly versatile packaging medium. FOAMplus® is available in a range of strengths to suit a product’s weight and fragility. FOAMplus®, polyurethane foam packaging is an ‘on demand’ packaging solution that, when the two components mix together, will expand up to 250 times their liquid volume negating the necessity for large storage area’s required for pre-fabricated packaging.

PELASPAN® Loose Fill

LOOSE FILL IS RELIABLE ALL-AROUND CUSHIONING. Storopack’s Loose Fill offers safe, efficient, and versatile all-around protection for your shipping goods. It fills voids, effectively blocks and braces products inside the carton, and is exceptionally resistant to shocks and high pressure. Storopack customers can choose between packaging chips made from temperature and water-resistance EPS and from fully compostable plant starch. All Loose Fill products are recyclable, antistatic, pourable, and therefore ideal for automated packaging lines. Storopack has been producing Loose Fill itself since 1973 as one of the first suppliers in Europe.

TCPplus® Palettshipper

IT'S NO BIG THING WHEN TEMPERATURE-SENSITIVE GOODS ARRIVE SAFELY BY THE PALLET LOAD. Safely sending even large batches of temperature-sensitive products is no big thing with TCPplus® solutions from Storopack: Entire Euro Pool pallets can be effortlessly transported with our pallet shippers featuring passive temperature control. Storopack customers have the choice between our Neopor® thermo-pallet shippers designed for temperatures ranging from 2 to 8°C and 15 to 25°C and our XXL shippers made of XPS for temperatures ranging from 2 to 25°C. All three versions are capable of maintaining steady temperatures for a particularly long period of time: The XXL shipper keeps the packaged goods within the designated temperature range for at least 120 hours and the thermo-pallet shipper is guaranteed to maintain temperatures of between 2 and 8°C for over 110 hours. If required, Storopack can supply additional high insulation panels (HIP) for this pallet shipper, extending the time goods are kept within a temperature range of 15 to 25°C to up to 120 hours. With their spacious inner volume of up to 550 liters, both versions of the thermo-pallet shipper provide sufficient room for your products on a Euro Pool pallet scale. With an inner volume of 600 liters, even entire Euro Pool pallets can be placed inside the XXL shipper without having to repack them beforehand, making the packaging operation quick and easy. All Storopack shippers are pre-qualified and supplied with a validation report. They are also very flexible and particularly easy to handle – the XXL shipper can be assembled by just one person within a matter of minutes and modified to suit the customer's individual needs. With the TCPplus® pallet shippers from Storopack, you are perfectly equipped for shipping temperature-sensitive products all over the world.

TCPplus® System Solutions 24-96h

IT'S PRACTICAL TO HAVE THE IDEAL PROTECTIVE PACKAGING IMMEDIATELY AVAILABLE IN THE WAREHOUSE FOR QUICK USE. From 24 hours to several days: Storopack develops and produces efficient insulating packaging for the transportation of temperature-sensitive products. Our pre-qualified system solutions make it possible to send medicines securely, quickly, and inexpensively at temperatures ranging from 2 to 8°C or 15 to 25°C with a shelf life of 24, 48, or 96 hours. Available in a variety of standard sizes, all of Storopack’s system solutions are ideal for quick application, and come with all the necessary components – insulated box, cooling medium, carton, inside carton, packaging instructions, and a qualification report.

IT'S SECURE WHEN IT FITS PERFECTLY. Protective materials must be a perfect fit. Storopack can provide you with its tailored packaging solutions. It has a wide range of expanded foam materials such as EPP, EPS, Piocelan®, and Neopor® to satisfy your individual needs. These materials offer several advantages: They can be molded into virtually any shape, provide outstanding insulation, and are incredibly light yet still able to absorb shocks. In accordance with the Storopack process, we work with you to analyze your individual needs, improve your internal processes and cost efficiency, and develop the perfect packaging for you, tailor-made and secure, in keeping with our promise: perfect protective packaging.

Versandverpackung für die Schweizer Espressomaschine «ZURIGA»

Die Swiss Packaging Award Jury hat die neue innovative Storopack Versandverpackung für die Schweizer Espressomaschine «ZURIGA» in der Kategorie Convenience für den Swiss Packaging Award nominiert. Insgesamt wurden 61 Verpackungslösungen von 36 verschiedenen Teilnehmern eingereicht. In den einzelnen Kategorien wurden je drei Nominierte von der Jury ausgewählt. Ziel des Wettbewerbs ist es, die Kreativität und Innovationskraft der Schweizer Verpackungsindustrie aufzuzeigen. Die Besonderheit dieser innovativen Verpackungslösung: Die Espressomaschine weist ein Gewicht von 9,1 kg auf, mit stoss- und bruchempfindlichen Bestandteilen. Notwendige Stossdämpfung für den schadenfreien Transport wird normalerweise nur durch Zweistoff-Verpackungslösungen aus EPS und Wellpappe erreicht.

PAPERplus® Track

COMPACT AND FAST – PAPERplus® TRACK With the PAPERplus® Track paper cushion system, you’re well equipped to ensure high throughput and secure packaging material: the machine produces paper cushion in mere seconds directly at the packing station, delivering highly effective padding despite limited use of material. Thanks to the sturdy padding, the system is ideal for medium to large packages weighing between 5 and 50 kg – the perfect solution for shipping spare parts, electronic components, ceramics, and more. PAPERplus® Track is compact in size and, like all other Storopack padding systems, can also be integrated into existing distribution lines. As a result, PAPERplus® Track guarantees optimal packing processes and reduces process costs. Especially user-friendly: perforated paper makes it possible to separate the paper cushion without a blade and with a single motion. Users also benefit from greater flexibility – the volume of paper cushion can be adjusted specifically for every product. Another advantage: the machine features a touchscreen and can be operated online using a smartphone or tablet.

PAPERbubble®

PAPERbubble® MEANS TRANSFORMING AIR AND PAPER INTO THE PERFECT PROTECTIVE PACKAGING. PAPERbubble® offers Storopack customers an innovative and eco-friendly alternative to traditional air bubble film. The protective packaging made of paper, a renewable raw material, in combination with air is 100% recyclable and reliably protects small to medium-sized goods during shipping, reducing the use of primary raw materials and fossil resources. PAPERbubble® is perfect for filling voids and wrapping and cushioning products from the cosmetics and pharmaceutical industries, electronic components, and generally for safely shipping any goods sold online. An added benefit is that PAPERbubble® gives products an elegant and unique appearance in the shipping carton, creating a positive and memorable unpacking experience for the end customer. The ready-to-use, perforated paper sheets measuring 580 mm x 380 mm are available in a specially designed box and in user-friendly packaging units that offer maximum flexibility and allow the sheets to be removed easily and ergonomically directly at the packing station. This means that PAPERbubble® does not require a machine system, which not only makes it a user-friendly packaging solution, but also a particularly cost-effective one.

AIRplus® 100% RECYCLED

100% RECYCLED MATERIAL MEANS PACKAGING SUSTAINABLY WITH EXCELLENT QUALITY. The AIRplus® 100% Recycled air cushions from Storopack show that recycling is possible without loss of quality. These consist of 100 percent recycled material and offer the same outstanding properties as air cushions made from virgin raw material. AIRplus® 100% Recycled is ideally suited to protect products in shipping boxes during transport. Perfect for companies that value high-quality protective packaging as well as sustainability. AIRplus® 100% Recycled air cushions are also recyclable and can be added to the recycling loop again. Air cushions consist of 99% air and only 1% film. The low material consumption compared to other materials therefore also minimizes operating costs. The composition of the AIRplus® 100% recycled film is unique to date. Storopack is the first manufacturer to produce an air pillow film consisting of 100% recycled material, both from post-industry and post-consumer waste. In the entire production process, 30% of greenhouse gases are saved and fossil resources are conserved.

AIRplus® BIO HOME COMPOSTABLE

PACKAGING WITH COMPOSTABLE AIR CUSHIONS MEANS CLOSING THE NATURAL CYCLE. Air cushions made from Storopack’s AIRplus® Bio Home Compostable film demonstrate that environmentally conscious packaging is possible by fulfilling the definitions of bioplastic: they are partly bio-based and compostable. The film consists partly of the renewable resource starch. Air cushions made of this organic film boast outstanding packaging characteristics and are ideal for protecting light to medium weight products in boxes during transport. The film is certified by TÜV Austria for home composting. End consumers can simply dispose of the air cushions alongside organic waste on home compost heaps. The microculture of the compost fully converts the organic film into carbon dioxide, water, and biomass, thus reducing plastic waste by closing the natural cycle.

CL-System

HEALING POWER IS WHEN TEMPERATURE-SENSITIVE MEDICATIONS REACH THE PATIENT SAFELY. In everyday clinical routine, time is of the essence – and there is no room for error. However, pharmacies, clinical laboratories, and distributors are often faced with logistical challenges especially when it comes to transporting vital, temperature-sensitive medications such as cytostatic chemotherapeutic agents, infusion treatments, or medical samples. Storopack’s sector-specific solution – the CL-System – offers reliability in this area. It is designed to facilitate the transportation of such medications – and guarantees an optimal temperature range. Made from durable EPP, the system closes tightly, can be sealed, and is very robust. One design covers several temperature ranges, making it especially suitable for local and countrywide distribution. All components can be effectively cleaned and used repeatedly, without losing their clean appearance.

Paper Wrap pallet wrapper

THE SUSTAINABLE SOLUTION FOR WRAPPING PALLETS The innovative Paper Wrap system is a win-win for anyone who wants to switch to recyclable and renewable materials when transporting their products from A to B. Paper Wrap offers a novel alternative to tertiary packaging, reducing dependence on plastic. The innovative pallet wrapping machine can be fully automated with two settings to wrap up to 60 pallets per hour or run semi-automatically to wrap 10-15 pallets per hour. A full roll of paper wrap can be inserted into the innovative machine without rewinding. The larger dimensions of a roll mean that a replacement roll is only needed every 400-600 pallets, compared to 40-80 pallets with ordinary stretch film.

AUTO.PROTECT

AUTO.PROTECT MEANS CUSHIONING THAT IS AI-SUPPORTED, AUTOMATED AND INTELLIGENT. Many customers are familiar with the challenge: especially with a diverse range of products, it is not always possible to rule out voids in the carton. This causes the goods to move during transportation, which can damage the carton and its contents. With our Working Automation module AUTO.PROTECT, you can protect your products from these transport stresses. Regardless of whether cavities need to be filled, your goods padded or fixed in the box: AUTO.PROTECT uses a vision system to detect the voids in the carton and uses an AI-supported application to determine the correct packing scenario. Top fill, bottom fill and block & brace are all possible. The padding is placed in the correct position in the box fully automatically - until your goods are optimally protected. AUTO.PROTECT is available both as a standard version and as a customized solution.
