Biella Schweiz AG, a leading Swiss office supplies provider, has introduced EPG’s Finance & Controlling system CnB (Contract and Billing) to automate contract management and freight cost calculation, including the complex ASTAG freight tariff. Using a custom cost matrix, CnB now calculates transport costs automatically based on factors such as distance, weight, volume, vehicle type and handling times, and feeds the results directly into the ERP. This replaces manual, spreadsheet-based processes, ensures all logistics services are completely recorded, and enables efficient billing of around 70,000 data records per month across six transport partners. CnB closes the gap between ERP and logistics, providing transparent, accurate and contract-compliant billing.
