Fulfillment centers are increasingly faced with the challenge of picking and shipping large quantities of goods in the shortest possible time. Efficiency and precision are essential – especially in areas where space is limited. This is where the GT1 spin excels: With a height of just 275 mm, the mobile robot can access, lift, and transport a wide variety of shelves. A scissor lift system enables a lifting height of up to 70 mm and reliably lifts loads of up to 1300 kilograms. Another key feature is the integrated turntable, which allows the load to be rotated independently of the robot itself. This saves valuable time when positioning shelves and optimizes workflows. With speeds of up to 2.2 m/s with a load and 3 m/s without a load, the GT1 spin can quickly deliver goods to their destination. Additional flexibility is provided by the differential drive, which allows the robot to turn on the spot – ideal for use in narrow aisles and where frequent changes of direction are required. Thanks to its compact design (1200 x 830 x 275 mm / L x W x H), the GT1 can be easily integrated into existing logistics systems. Since goods-to-person and shelf-to-person processes are being optimized through automation in many industries, both in terms of process speed and ergonomics, this mobile robot can play a significant role in the future.
