Thanks to its extremely stable base, this compact, robust and handy pallet box is specially designed for heavy-duty applications with low-volume requirements. It is also suitable for the safe transport and storage of pressure-sensitive goods. Following on from the CB3 (740 mm high) and the large-volume CB3 High (1140 mm high), the Craemer experts have now developed the new CB3 Low pallet in response to specific market requirements. This is a logical extension of the Craemer portfolio in industrial dimensions (1200 x 1000 mm). With a height of 580 millimetres, it is particularly suitable for manual operations and ergonomic work processes. When designing the Low version, the developers deliberately focused on creating a highly stable base specially designed for storing and transporting heavy goods. This large, completely one-piece moulded load carrier offers high stability and resistance – even under demanding conditions. Compact design for ergonomic processes The Craemer Group also manufactures the CB3 Low pallet box from high-quality, food-safe and fully recyclable polyethylene. This one-piece injection-moulded box from the CB3 series is available with three unwelded runners as standard, plus nine feet as an optional extra. Channel and compact storage solutions from Stöcklin allow multiple depth storage, i.e. a number of load carriers can be stored one in back of the other. This space-saving method is particularly advantageous in the food and beverage industry as well as in the energy-intensive deep freeze sector. Storage and retrieval are accomplished by the PowerShuttle. This carrier vehicle is positioned in front of the shelves by a stacker crane, allowing it to travel horizontally on a rail into the assigned channel where it moves beneath the pallet. The storage locations are assigned by the warehouse management system in consideration of the minimum best before date of the goods using the FiFo system (First-in/First-out). The PowerShuttle communicates using radio frequency signals and is positioned by means of absolute encoders and sensors. The PowerShuttle is available in one or two-pallet versions (single or double PowerShuttle) and is also suitable for use down to -30 °C.

Hygiene is a crucial factor in technical and logistical processes involving pharmaceutical and chemical products, food and cosmetics. Craemer, pioneer in plastics processing, has developed the new HB3, a pallet box entirely made of PE: hygienic, robust, ideal for this sector. With its latest development, the specialist in plastics offers a world first innovation: HB3 is the first and only completely closed pallet box on the market with welded runners. The new HB3 box in industrial size (outer dimensions, l x w x h: 1200 x 1000 x 790 millimetres) consists of two one-piece injection-moulded elements: the box body as the top part and the pallet with three welded runners as the bottom part. Another special feature: A patented weld seam geometry for joining both plastic elements ensures maximum impact resistance and break strength; the weld seam is contour-milled and therefore almost invisible. The HB3 box, with a tare weight of approx. 42 kilograms (without reinforcement profiles), can carry a volume of max. 580 litres and withstand a stacking load of 5000 kilograms. The box is extremely rigid thanks to the welding of top and bottom part. Three additional metal reinforcement profiles (available as an option) permit a further increase of bending stiffness. The exact payload of this new development is currently being determined. R&D experts from Craemer call it the “elephant among pallet boxes”. According to them, in relation to its size is the strongest on the market. Construction and design of the box body ensure optimum hygiene. According to the manufacturer, the completely closed pallet box has excellent cleaning properties and has no nooks or crannies in which bacteria may settle. The seamless design, the smooth inner walls and the welded runners allow easy emptying, cleaning and drying. The almost invisible contour-milled welding seam, the clean and clear lines, the minimal ribbing and the rounded shape also contribute to this.
