Autonomous Mobile Robots

Autonomous mobile robots
Autonomous mobile robots (AMR) can move and act independently in their environment. Robotec Solutions creates your personal solution with mobile robots for maximum efficiency in production, research and intralogistics.

Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMR)
How can fully autonomous mobile robots help transform manufacturing, warehouse automation and intralogistics to facilitate flexible manufacturing? With AMRs, you can connect and easily scale up production lines, ensure just-in-time delivery or pick-up of materials, reduce health and safety risks on the warehouse and manufacturing floors, as well as improve the quality and traceability of products. The robots are equipped with sensors and guided by a smart software so they can reach their destination freely and independently, safety avoiding any obstacles in their path. AMRs can also be used in many other industries and applications, from vertical farming to healthcare and hospitality.

Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMR)

Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMR)
A flexible automation solution for order fulfillment and product transport As e-commerce demands continues to grow, retailers must choose how best to respond to consumer expectations for accurate, on-time delivery. The goal is to scale operations for future growth within existing facility layouts while optimizing labor resources. To meet this goal, retailers must look to intelligent automated solutions such as AMRs to provide the flexible and scalable technology necessary to grow their operations. AMRs are industrial robots that lift and transport materials within your facility. They reliably navigate throughout the workspace by reading QR codes on the facility floor, responding to changing traffic conditions and adapting accordingly. Light Detection and Ranging (LiDAR) scanners mounted on the AMRs allow them to sense and avoid obstructions.

Autonomous mobile robots (AMR) for dynamic and flexible horizontal transport
AMRs are ideal for point-to-point transport or goods-to-person systems in industries such as food and beverage, fashion, online grocery, retail and e-commerce, as well as for cross-industry applications.

AutoStore market leader Element Logic installs 1,000th robot
Element Logic, the world's most successful AutoStore distributor last year, has implemented the 1,000th AutoStore robot in the D-A-CH region as the official AutoStore integrator. As part of an expansion project for the AutoStore facility at the logistics center of STIHL Tirol GmbH, Element Logic Germany has delivered the 1,000th AutoStore robot in the D-A-CH region (Germany-Austria-Switzerland). At the STIHL production site for garden tools in Langkampfen, the system integrator has installed a state-of-the-art automated storage and picking system AutoStore with 57,000 bins for small parts storage to supply the assembly lines using tugger trains and for spare parts supply. Since commissioning in May 2019, the flexibly scalable system has been con-tinuously expanded as needed during ongoing operations. Orchestrated by eManager, the warehouse management software from Element Logic, which was also installed, 26 robots in the compact system currently ensure efficient storage and picking processes at seven operator workstations, the socalled ports. For storage and retrieval, 400 bins are presented there per hour. With the completed expansion order, an additional picking port and three more robots - including the 1,000th AutoStore robot installed by Element Logic in the D-A-CH region - have supplemented the spaceefficient AutoStore system since July 2021. The extension took just six weeks to complete. In the AutoStore system, which measures just under 1,500 m2 , three ports are used for storage and four ports for retrieval. The system can be expanded by a further 9,000 bins without any structural changes and the capacity can be increased by bringing in additional robots.

AutoStore: Space saving storage and order picking system for small parts
AutoStore: Space saving storage and order picking system for small parts. Now available for deep-freeze applications Do you want to store a large number of small parts while increasing storage density and remaining very flexible? AutoStore is a highly efficient robotized storage and order processing solution that integrates easily into existing buildings. AutoStore: Product handling with the highest storage density AutoStore is a unique and simple solution that uses robots and bins to quickly process small volume orders in ambient and chilled temperature zones. It provides better use of available space than any other automated system thanks to its unique design that enables direct stacking of bins on top of each other and storage of multiple SKUs in a single bin. Over time, the system naturally learns which products have a higher rotation, storing them on the top layer to ensure faster picking times. AutoStore: Modular design with Swisslog special features Whatever your building looks like, AutoStore can be optimally designed in and around structures such as columns, floor height differences or other spatial peculiarities. Wide tunnels or narrow bridges are also possible. What if you could double storage capacity without any additional construction? This is possible with AutoStore! Swisslog can provide standard stand-alone solutions to integrated systems with conveyor systems or other subsystems. Highly efficient picking modules driven by Swisslog SynQ software.
